If you could spend one day in NYC with a famous inventor, who would you like it to be, where would you go, and why

Given the privilege and honor, I would wish to meet Thomas Alva Edison. The world owes him one of the greatest form of gratitude by his series of inventions most especially the incandescent bulb. The symbolic place of rendezvous would be at Times Square in New York City where the glory and awe of his inventions are at its brightest more than anywhere else in the world.

I wish to have the honor of having a cup of coffee and breakfast with him in one of the plushiest coffees shop near the square and conduct one of the most important interviews ever. Ahead of the interview, I wish to give him a diamond token shaped like a bulb that  glows, shines and sparkle even in the darkest hour of the day or night. This would represent the gesture of gratitude for bringing light into this world, like God on His first day of creation. More than anything in this world, I would articulate how his foremost invention is showcased in Times Square in New York City where the splendor of the impact of light branded the New York as the city that doesnt sleeps. Both a discoverer and inventor, Thomas Alva Edison likewise deserves to be given the honor of bring another milestone of appreciation for bringing music to my ears and news through telegraphy. The bulb, phonograph and communication gadgets have since evolved into innovations that enliven the mood and lives of men. He ignited creativity in men. New York City is where everything about his inventions and discoveries are showcased to its cutting-edge and state-of-the-art technology.

Edison brought color to an otherwise bland darkness of my eyesight, cacophony in my ears and longing for news about my loved ones far into the continent. Now I have more reasons to enjoy life as everyone else.

Landing in New York City a penniless, poor man heavily in debt, Edison should make a comeback in this city enjoying the glory of his creativity and receive that gesture of gratitude from a person who primarily knows no bounds for appreciation. For Edison, New York is likewise a place to express his gratitude for being able to rescue his parents who he earlier left in dire financial straits.

I consider Edison as among the greatest reason for what we are today  progressive and productive. With so many accomplishments in the realm of science and its applications, such symbolic homecoming in New York City will likely bring tears to his eyes as it would to me. Edison deserves a more likely place to be honoredNew York City. It is the best place to physically feel the momentousness of his creativity.  It would be the best day in my life.
