THE SHI HUANGDI ASHIOKA EMPIRE, ASHIOKA AND ROMAN ASHIOKA GOVERNMENT STRUCTURE

King Ashioka (ruled 273- 232 BCE) Empire was the third monarch in the Indian rule that had a great political effect to the system of ruling. The Roman Empire had a series of kings in the Italian history. The system of rule also impacted strongly on the system of governance in the country. The Shi Huangdi (259 BC - 210 BC) Empire had a revolutionary rule in the china system of governance. All the three governments were structured in a manner such that it gave the best to its entire people in power.
The three of these empires had some similarities in their structure of government. The three empires had a central government that was headed by the emperor as the most powerful man in the land. Then there was his deputy who acted on his behalf during the emperor absence and assisted the emperor to rule.  The governments had monarchial powers that were divided down into the various government levels in series. There was no supreme manner of ruling as was earlier with the previous governments.

For the Roman Empire, it was not very centralized whereby it was divided into dozens. The dozens were governed by the princes. The prince included the kings, dukes, counts, bishops, abbots and other rulers. The power of the local leaders was equally important and for any decision to be made they were earlier informed.
.
The governments had a large well standing strong army for protecting the country which was well maintained. The army commander reported to the emperor and was appointed by the emperor. The commanders acted as one of the most senior people in the government.

The three governments did a lot and embraced on massive public works. In the Chinese government, this led to the construction of the grate wall of China.

They were ruling under one law and order. This is by use of one constitution although it differed with the way this was handled. The constitution governed the manner of rule and the laws of the country. However, the constitution was a series of unwritten tradition, beliefs and laws.

The governments had a strong judiciary, where the magistrates were chosen accordingly. Massive changes were still taking place, where the government executive consisted of prime minister in China. There were also the ministers. The provincial administration then followed down the chain of command that started with the provinces, then the districts and lastly the local administration.  All the officials heading the administration were appointed by the emperor and represented the central administration.
There was also the presence of the senate that was ruling in place with the king. The senate also was to oversee the election of the various officials in the different levels of the government. The senate also worked in hand with other representative ideas. Shi Huangdi also standardized the currency and improved on the transport industry.

The governments engaged people in the growth and developments and withdrew from all war after conquering most of their enemies. The large number of staff helped the government in conducting its duties. This included the collection of taxes and maintenance of public places and this helped his three governments to work on reforms expeditiously.
